How tall are you and what vehicles have you been in similar to the AMG GT?

The AMG GT is going to be my return into something with 2 doors in over 10 years, last time it was a 2004 BMW Z4 and that just barely fit me in comfortably, knees were within a few inches of the dash.

I am 6' 3 and fit reasonably well in my GT S. Keep in mind that this is a sports car, not ment for long ( really long ) distance road trips.

Being long in the body, I have to play a bit to get comfortable. By moving the seat ( bench) back to get in, and then moving the back rest back and sliding the bench forward, the seat sort of slides under you. I have to release most of the air in the bolsters to accommodate my big fat a**.

If you are a big person you have to want this car. It has a simple mission, go fast fun. If you use it to go grocery shopping, you will be disappointed .

Most manufacturers have an average height they use and most people generally fall into it. Last I heard of someone being uncomfortable in a sport car was because he was 6'5. I think anything under that should fit reasonably well but it's not meant to be a long trip car.

They also go by demographics since that matters too, actually that matters even more because now you're narrowing in on WHO is buying rather than the very broad picture that includes the small percent of who will buy. Just the way I see it, what makes sense.

I'm 6' 3" as well, and driving the GTS is definitely comfortable at this height. The car is low so getting in is a little tricky, but that's the name of the game for this caliber of car. Can be comfortable for a long drive, but as previous commenter said, not the most comfortable at this height. My head has good clearance from the roof.

6'5" 211#

I fit quite well. Seat max down and max reversed. No problems.

Just got the car last week.

Thats a good point.I'll take some and post in new member section.

I just got it, so it hasn't had anything done except the tint. It needs a clear bra and some cquartz.
