Variant Performance List

AMG GT Coupe - 456hp & 443lb-ft
AMG GT Roadster
- 469hp & 464lb-ft
AMG GT S Coupe
- 503hp & 479lb-ft
AMG GT C Roadster - 549hp & 502lb-ft
AMG GT R - 577hp & 516lb-ft

So far, from what I've gathered, this is what the breakdown is in terms of simplified horsepower and torque figures.

The variants do have different features as well, such as different suspension packages, different track widths, electronics, etc. But again, this is just a general breakdown.

This is a pretty good general outline. I really like the way that they did it though. When you want something with a good amount of power, you know which options to hit. When you don't need all of that, your choice is a bit easier

I'd go for the AMG GT R if I could afford it. Always wanted something with a beastly engine and 577hp is pretty good.

577hp and with some proper tuning, cracking 600hp no problemo. Really cannot go wrong with one of these. Phenomenal looks, ridiculously sinister sounding, all the luxuries you want, and the power to push through and do some damage.

See I'm all for the GT R but I would really like that drop top. GT C Roadster plus a new exhaust and tuning and power wise it's right up there with the GT R if not surpassing it topless.

I think someone in your situation that's open to buying a Porsche will go the used 911 GT3 RS route since doing that you can scoop one up for a good price, even if you happen to shoot a bit lower along the 911 line up.

Cheapest one I found on eBay is around $125k with 9,800 miles on it.

Someone willing to spend more can easily find them for around $20k more than that, plus you also have to factor in negotiating power and other factors that can bring the price down. Really it all depends on what you want but most individuals here can freely move between either the AMG or 911.

Of course, price wise, they really aren't that far off from each other. A stone throws away if you will. Power figure wise they're in the same ball park as well so it really comes down to preference and intended usages.

That and what brand you rather rock. Too bad its a bit hard for me to decide since I like the level of performance had with a 911 but also the luxury typically offered from Benz... AMG GT is just a great hybrid of that.
