AMG GT S gets tuning kit from Fostla

German tuning company Fostla has recently shown of some aftermarket tuning kits for the GT S. Power has been bumped from 503hp and 478lb-ft of torque to 604hp and 566lb-ft. This was done with an ECU tune, as well as a high performance air filter and frequency intelligent exhaust downpipes. Also included is a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, composed of a front splitter, sidebars, rear diffuser and adjustable rear wing. These are complemented by a lowered suspension and spacers for the wheel. Finally the car is wrapped in a unique vinyl that features a two tone matte silver and red. Pricing has been set around $32k.

I like how much this look pays homage to motorsport. In a number of different racing serious where you'd find GT3 versions of the AMG GT, colors schemes like this are common, except they have more stickers

The new look is pretty incredible, but I'm more focused on that 100hp bump. Pretty incredible figure to achieve with a ECU tune. I hope we get the chance to see/hear this thing in action.

Often it takes some serious exhaust tuning for a vehicle like this to sound reasonably different, in this case the change will be slight and not too far off from your average AMG GT.

Just look at what Yamaha had to do to the LFA's V10.

Well they did change out the factory downpipes as well as the air filter. I'm not expecting a huge difference, but better air flow could mean a slightly different note. The stock GT S already sounds fantastic.
