After previewing the kit last November, Wald International has unveiled its custom body kit for the Mercedes-AMG GT at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
In contrast to the flashy style hat we usually see from Wald, the Japanese tuning house took a more conservative approach this time. There are changes to the front fascia which now shows a prominent lip spoiler attached to a reshaped bumper with side canards.
Moving to the rear of the vehicle, the most prominent change is the addition of a fixed wing. The rear also sees a pair of side vents and a custom exhaust system with dual tips flanking a central diffuser. The Wald AMG GT is completed with custom wheels, side skirt extensions, stiffer suspension springs, and some orange accents.
The package is only visual, so this AMG GT is equipped with the stock 4.0-liter V8 that delivers 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.
Finally they have a Black Bison design that's clean and doesn't include anything that doesn't look tacky to me. The version with red pinstriping is a good example of enough 'pop' that properly reflects the AMG GT.
That's actually one of the nicest body kits I seen. I don't need those wide body kits or extremely large rear spoilers. This onegives it a sporty look without overdoing it and the hints of orange makes it look all the better.
