Gt vs 911 on Track

Video look from EVO, I could add words but the context of the video should speak for itself to those of you who feel that value is based on the number of words...

The AMG GT is one of the greatest 911 rivals, so much so I think this will be one of those moments in history where we'll see the GT come closest in sales compared to all other rivals in this segment. Still, 911 should still reign king.

Definitely agree with that.. I think the GT will have a wonderful year with sales. It does have a very classy and aggressive look to it which is very appealing. It's also a bit cheaper than the 911. However, the 911 will always have iconic belt on. They do have to completely different looks I would say.

Does anyone think the GT may gain more clout versus the 911 once Mercedes gets their GT3 program up and running. I was watching the WEC race at Silverstone a few weeks ago and they had Andy Palmer from Aston in the booth. He was saying how absolutely imperative GT racing is to their sales which I found fascinating. I mean I always knew racing helped sell cars but I never considered it IMPERATIVE....
