Too bad converting these prices to US won't give us exact figures instead we'll have to wait on the US announcement which is months away by my guess at the North American International Auto Show. Regardless of how much it ends up being in US dollars it won't stop anyone from purchasing.
Just imagine if we had a targa version to choose from like what 911 owners have:
I'm sort of with you on that, partially because it will safer than a convertible. Just imagine how the targa top will hold up when your rolling over vs the convertible. Knowing the most vital part of your body has better odds is priceless.
But it's not normal for MB to go the targa route, we can only dream
I highly doubt that they would go the targa route. I can't remember the last time I've seen a proper targa anyhow. Would I like it? Yes. Would it be available? Most likely not, so I'm not holding my breath on that one.
If you want to feel safer in the convertible, get a mini cage built and have it wrapped in alcantara so it still looks kind of oem and clean.
