The newest open top model of the AMG GT, is hitting the market in certain European countries. Pricing starts at £126,730 ($172,006) in the United Kingdom, where deliveries will commence in August. In Germany it can be had from €148,755.95 ($177,935), tax included. For that money MB has upped the standard equipment. 19' front and 20' wheels are offered at no extra cost, as well as the AMG Ride Control suspensions with adaptive damping. The Active Air Control system and LED headlights will also be included. The electrically extending rear spoiler is standard too, along with the Command Online system and Nappa leather upholstery. The three-layer fabric roof can be ordered in one of three colors: beige, red or black, and is also free of charge. Here's a breakdown of the specs and prices of each trim.
The GT R Coupe is very tempting as the range topping model listed, but most buyers may go straight fro the base model of S trim for the Coupe.
beige is an odd color to offer with such an aggressive car.
