AMG GT S vs Porsche 911 and Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary

If you're still not behind the wheel of one of those or some alternative, reading through the comparison below by MotorTrend is a good start.

Fantastic article. Not just because the AMG was picked as #1, but WHY it was picked.

I love that they felt it had the right things wrong with it.

Reminds me of Top Gear complaining about the newer Lambo's being too tame and easy to drive. Sounds backwards, but its true.

Yup, it helps to read articles that provide back real information that owners can use or even potential owners since that is who they're really writing for, and then of course all the guys that wish they could own one

This article sums up why I decided to buy the gt. It really does feel alive which is very different to my SL which feels safe but brutal.

I bet, SL to me was more of a grand tourer, and the SLS a bit better but not nearly as sporty as the AMG GT which was what we needed for a while to come... something that can directly rival the Porsche 911.
