AMG GTS Sequential Turn Signals...

I recently purchased an AMG GTS and was kind of disappointed to learn that the rear sequential turn signals are a Europe-only feature.

Does anyone here know if the AMG GT/GTS can be coded to enable the European sequential turn signals?

I know that with BMW there are a lot of euro spec features that can be enabled through coding as I have done this with my X5M.

Thanks!

I don't know if it would be possible but you can always try asking your dealer and see what they say. Hopefully it's a thing they can individually select and modify rather than it being a result of a whole EU firmware that's required, if the latter, there might be a problem with getting it to happen.

Based on a local tuner engineer, it is not an easy thing to do and you need the codes from Germany and the dealer will probably not do for liability reason. I am bummed myself.
I wonder if this was a patent issue with Mustang.

I doubt it's a patent issue if the European models can get it but it doesn't hurt to ask your dealer. Just stinks that the sequential turn signals aren't universal.

It should be possible. I would like to put it in Formula 1 blinking yellow-white mode as well for rallies!

best bet will be to just tell Mercedes to include it in future model years and go from their.
