Buying GTs soon - narrowing choices

I renewed my BMUSA membership, signed up for this forum and pulled out my old Mercedes shirt. Time to add a GTs to my group.

Drove a '16 at a dealer this week and am completely impressed. I've got to make room in the garage and have decided to sell or possibly even trade my '05 Viper I bought new. Back and forth between Ferarri, Lambos, Porsche and even some Shelby and Vettes.

I'm going to let others take the financial hit by buying one a few years old with low miles and plenty of warranty left -I'm investigating the MB warranty, 10 years etc.

A GTs is the choice. The drive I took settled it. So amazing for sure. I was worried about giving up my Viper and I still will miss it but this car is too amazing. I'm giving up a great 6-speed manual but that feels like the one thing I wish the GTs had.

Need some help.

What is the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS PACKAGE all about? I've read plenty but I don't know if I'll need or want it. I'm planning on the occasional track session and I've got a few other high performance cars that are less refined but equal in terms of raw power.

One car has steelies and the other has carbon ceramic discs, that's a big difference. Pros and cons (from those that actually have them on their GT please) of both?

Lastly, please help with suggesting which options are nice to have and which are more important.

I'm no novice and have built cars as well so please assume I've read the basics or have that covered via my experiences around some pretty amazing cars.

Thanks in advance to all - looking forward to getting the car and coming to events, shop nights and races.
