I think what I notice most about it is the long arch of the side window and also how that lines up with the taillights. So perhaps a change in the shape of the c pillar might work. Definitely the side window arch that is the problem for me though.

having it angled more in and lower would help even adding a bit of a curve to it would be great IMO.

One thing to keep in mind is that the CLS shooting brake has four doors while the AMG GT shooting brake would only have 2.
